Because not only do people bump against the tank but they also have a tendency to lean against the tank when they are changing clothes.
If you do that you will:
- cut down on the wear of the washers on the bowel so they don’t wear out and start leaking
- prevent a water leak and damage that you didn’t have any preparation for.
