One thing to be careful of when you start painting around your cabinets like your kitchen cabinets do not put tape or be very careful when you put tape on the finish because it is paper thin and it will pull off when you take the tape off. And then you will have marks on the finish that you will have to try to match or you will have to re-do all the cabinets.
