In the past people have tried to carry their dispute with a dealer by saying I’m not going to make payments until you fix the things that need to be finished.
That is not the way to go about it.
What you should do is put the payments into an escrow account then:
- Tell them that you are putting that money into an escrow account
- That will make the mortgage company go after the dealer.
- As long as you spend that money and don’t make the payments you are gonna get it repossessed.
So what you want to do:
- open that account
- keep good records
- let all parties know what you are doing.
