Hi, guys. We’re at a unique situation where we had to drive down a really steep hill. We’ve still got to go down quite a bit of hill to this dock over here. And it’s started out being 17 degrees this morning now. So we’re going to wade across the water because the dock has got to be reeled in. So we’ve got waders to put on and we’re going to wait across the water to get on the ramp and then winch up the two anchors and then reel in the two winches that guide this thing back and check out the wheels while they’re kind of crooked in this cold weather. So here we go.

And then have to go about 30 or 40’ before we can do any improvement on the other, you know, the new gravity. They haven’t built like steps to get down to where the family is you know, over and there’s property line of those. You see one limestone through the oak in the trees? This is the the boundary of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. So you cannot build within certain feet of their property. 30.

“Well, apparently they did it anyways though.”

Actually, that might be deeper. That might be floating. What do you think? I mean I can always try and go out there.

Yeah. So what.

We’ve got to do there is on the corners of up high, are anchors that you have to…

Wench up

Lodge, pull loose.

Pull up so it’ll float And then on the lower part and the corners is cables and that pulls it in. So, each corner has a cable in. That’s what we’re going to try to do.

We’ll stop it now. up.

We’ve got to pull the dock in.

Hey, why don’t you get in with him Tim? Because it’s easier.

Clay, you need to be up towards the front more.

The winds pulling me out into the water, I can’t really move.

Uh, uh, be still.

Don’t need to fall in the water now.

Yeah, go around and come up the other side. Hey, watch that cable?

Well, you guys do this. There’s a board right there. You can’t get to that board?

You got a leak, Tim?

Going on the backside, I fixed the one in the middle but there’s one right underneath that I did not notice.

But you don’t need to capsize now.

Yeah. You know how funny that’d be for everybody on video?

I hope you don’t have your phones on you.

16 degrees.

I do actually. I have my phone for my cigarets.

You won’t find it. You can’t get to that board. Oh, okay.

First time I’ve gotten paid to go canoeing.

Right? Right. Usually you pay to go canoeing.

This is going to be funny watching them get out.

You can’t make that turn? Uh, that’s not that bad.

As you go inside, you can hold on to those poles you go around. You’re going to really need to hold on to something.

Like that or.

Bumper cars.

I’m trying not to flip your all right to.

I would be concerned. I wouldn’t want to be in the water either.

It’s shaking a lot. Yes. And do you think they’re an experienced canoe crew?

I don’t think so. They need a little time. Hey, don’t let that thing drift off either. We don’t have a rope there. Do you have a rope on that canoe?

We have any rope with us?

We can toss you a rope.

Ok, that’s there now what am I supposed to do?

Clay. You got to come out of there.

Yeah. Pulls anchors into. Well.

You see if you can turn it this way, Tim. That way you want to worry about it drifting off.

I don’t think. Is there any current.

If I fall in the water you guys don’t laugh at me.

If you fall in the water. I will.

Here, hold this. I’m going to go grab a rope. Okay.

That’s okay. That’s okay.

We ain’t got no wind or anything. Okay. My first things are the ones on the outside up high Clay. These are. Yeah. You may have to jerk on the cable to get it unhooked from the dirt down below.

You can’t jump on the dock making do with your 150 lbs.

Oh, that’s tied to the land that pulls them in. What’s up with that? It didn’t hold. It’s like crap in my hands. I just.

There’s a should be a stop Clay. That’s fine, should be, there should be a stop there. The hold in place.

There’s stop on tap.

That should be fine. What’s the matter, Clay?

You’re stuck for these wedges.

Yeah, they got to come in.

Let’s go in. Yeah, they do. There’s slack on them. I’ve got a lot of slack on mine.

Yeah. You’re pulling it in. Even, still.

Yeah. I get what I gave you. Well, do that so much. One I got tension should we be going at about the same time?

Let him catch up, Tim. Looks like it’s coming in.

That looks great.

It looks good now. Keep coming. Hold it. Let’s not put too much of a strain on it.

Oh that seems to right in. How do we lock it?

Or you think he’ll.

Should be a lock on it, on the side.

It’s right here, Clay, see on the inside.

Don’t want to come in more or something. Do you want to pull it in.

I don’t think it goes in any further.

Some It has those wheels should just roll right in, roll right up to here so you don’t have to step in the water.

I think we’re missing a lug nut that goes on that one or a bolt. That goes through.

Yeah.

Yeah. So, let’s see what it takes. Watch him fall in.

Then we made the voyage with a boat, and then fall in. Well.

Slope, you could slide off right here in the middle, you could easily slide off the road, like a glider.

You guys hold this I’ll go over here

It’s the little one that we’re on right now. This one’s because.

It’s bigger, right? So. No. Yeah, they have their…

I can hold it in it’s just going to vibrate a lot.

Or not, He ends.

I’ve got too many d*mn pockets in this. You sure it’s not in the bag? Yeah. It was in the bag until I pulled it out of there. And then I dropped it in my 100 and 2,000 pockets. So I’m good at it. You can, you can go quite a bit more of that quarter inch. You’re just pushing it this way. Well, that’s as deep as it’s going to go. Well I guess we’ll be fine there.

It ain’t going to go anywhere. putting it the gas or the washer, or at least. Should be on the river side of it is fine, but.

You just keep. I believe these are smaller nuts. know what to do yet. So I’m sorry.

I’m not I, I thought you were talking about washers. Here let me get the washer. well. Yeah. So.

Yeah, I can’t see here. 9/16ths. not right for.

You know, Drop that. I’m not going to drop it. So, in a way what is this. Yeah. just about. Is that screw tight? Yeah. You’re pretty flush. All right those are on tight. All the weight on that side? You want us to move my jack over to this side.

You could.

I could just hold on to the tire for you.

Well, I just get up on that side, and put that tire on the side on the ground, or go down a little bit. Oh, there’s water right there.

Let down a little bit, Tim. I got to figure out.

How to do that with these. Ok, that’s how you do it. I shouldn’t be on while you do it.

We’re going up.

I’ve never heard one of these before. Now, you got it. You got to go all the way down. OK, now up.

No, stop, go. Upps, there’s a notch right there on the… A little further.

Ok. That’s going up. Ohhh! I don’t know if your supposed to let the handle go. Probably not.

All right, you’re good over here. Just keep letting that thing out. It’s trying to throw me off. Ok. That’s why you need that off center. You need off so you can use that over here. So you see. It has to go down a little bit more.

Oh, hey. I feel dumb I could have just pulled the pin out and then we went down.

Well, it don’t work that good whenever it’s got weight on it.

Okay, that don’t line up too good. Twist it, I’m on it won’t move. The holes don’t line up the way. Well, they didn’t line up. Here, I’ll show you what we did. Yeah, we just went close. Here, you can see the hole. Right there is a hole. I mean none of them line up. right there. I want the skinny ones can go into that one.

But you’re not… Here’s a big nut. Probably need a big washer.

I’m the big nut.

Also. A washer, you need another washer. Yeah. One for the outside, otherwise that bolt will try and pull through

Well, we only have one washer left so…

You might be able to get a small one in here, but that’s about it. That’s all we have left.

Small ones. Where is it? or is it you were in the new one. Yeah. We don’t have any more washers.

That’s a problem. Well well actually in here let me put this around. Let me pull this back out. I don’t think I need a washer on this side as much as you need a washer on that side. No, I’d say you do. Well, I think the left on the outside and inside the bulk little bit on the inside. All right. Which is sort of a funny name, the big ones.

And I think that’s going to happen. Which one you want to start on a little to.

The little one. Oh.

Well, I can’t I don’t want you to go to your getting big one first.

And that’s the reason to do it.

Just let it dry so back out or.

Oh, we should let it go out a little bit, but it could be all right with that. Do you need to bring the canoe back int?

Supposed to rain some more.

When Wednesday is winter mail. I like it so they look well you’re you. I think you’re good. All right. Let’s go to the other side. Ya, you’re good.

Oh. How’s that one? That’s fine.

There are no washers really. Well, it looks straight. It looks straight to me. Axel seems fine. Yeah.

So let’s drop it on down some more.

Here you go, Drew. Yeah, So I can let the dock out. Yeah. Huh? Hold the phone so I can let the dock out. Here. I’ll come over there with you. How about that. You want the screaming one? Don’t matter. Just don’t smack yourself with it. Yeah. No, that’s not letting it out. You got to lift it up to take it out.

He just wants this, isn’t he? He says the dock is fine where it’s at. He just want to loosen this up so if the water rains, it can go up and down. It’s just not stuck here. So just do this Hey Dad. you can. Right.

What are you going to do.

Now if you just drag it out here, pick it up on your shoulders real easy. Put that any way it is. I don’t like that feel. I got very. But yeah, what’s just have to go around again You can go cross the side. Well do you have your phone. You. Yeah. You want me to take your phones? again like. Yeah.

Well if you fall in the lake you’re going to lose it.

But it put it in over there. Oh okay.

Yeah. I think you guys got some speed going.

Right, Right. Yeah.

Oh, gosh, it is. Was it is your phone.

This is your phone. No, no, I’m.

In your pocket. They don’t use it. Pull it. It’s heavy. It’s a big, old, dent there if you look at it. Well, you can knock that dent out. No, right here. Oh, yeah. It doesn’t do that. Well, your leak. Where’s your.

Oh, they know with this is the red side.

The red side? Oh.

Well, that didn’t work out.

Well he needs to rest. Here. Here.

You’re leaking in the front too. It’s just got, drip.

All the water in to the front. Now it’s leaking on that side. Yeah. Because that’s the back. Thought it was around one of these.

It’s on that rubber coating.

Just go ahead and get some of that Flex seal and do the whole entire thing. Rhino lining.

That Rhino linning is expensive though. Awe. At least it wasn’t plywood this time. going up. Okay. Yeah. I’ve done hydrogen. Well you take that bottom. We only in.

That was a nudge. Hey, at least, this wasn’t the Titanic, you know, that could have been bad. Let’s get a strap on that. It was working its way. Need to get the strap, I mean the flag put on here.

Don’t Flex seal only lasts for just a little bit. straight on his break I mean right away And then. Oh.

I can start the video. All right.

Yeah.

So thank you for saying that in the video, but I can stop the video and just.
