How To Do Blow-out Patch
Okay. This is what we’re fixing to do is called a blow-out patch. You can use a piece of wood and a piece of drywall to fill in a hole like that. There’s a size that a little bit smaller and then I cut all around that, and then I went two inches around like this and a round piece. So what I am going to do.
Is peel it off Clean it all up. I’ll put it in that hole. I’ll put drywall mud around it, and then I’ll finish this as if it was drywall tape. So it’ll be a patch right there. And then we’ll have to have drywall or a piece of wood up there.
