If You Need to Keep Your Mobile Home Tub

Hi, I’m Phil bridges, owner of Straight Arrow Repair. Ever want to know how a repairman fixes things? Well come with me, and I’ll show you how I solve problems. Let’s make things better together.

So when you’re coming to a tub like this has these pieces that go over the top of the edge of the tub.

If you’re going to keep your tub, you need to keep those sealed on the top, particularly. Bottom, as far as function doesn’t mean a whole lot, and you’ll see why, because of the lip of the thin plastic tube goes up. But if it’s not sealed up here water will run behind the tub down to the floor, cause your tub to have no support on the floor and then a crack to what happened.

So we’re going to pull this one out to put in a cast iron tub. And one of the things I’m going to do is take a razor knife and cut it across the top so we don’t have to deal with really good caulking.

If it is or is not, and will pull the screws out and I’ll show you that lip then. This Phil Bridges, if you like what you saw and think it might be helpful to somebody else, push that like button and let other people know what you and I know now we’ll work together toward making a brighter future. By the way, we’re not Ameri-Can’ts. We’re Americans see you next time.
